Implantation bleeding

Think I'm experiencing implantation bleeding. Could anyone share their stories if any?
I'm around 6-8dpo.

Every month before my positive test where I thought I might have implantation bleeding turned out just to be early spotting before my period arrived. It would be brown or red, not plentiful, but noticeable on wiping.

I’m hindsight, I think I had implantation bleeding with my positive test. The faintest pink smear on tissue when wiping, that frankly I am amazed I even managed to see. When you think about it, implantation is a handle of tiny cells burrowing in. So tiny you can’t even see them so the idea it would cause much damage or bleeding in most people is pretty unthinkable.

@WhatWouldPennyDo thank you for your reply. Yes makes perfect sense. I've just never had this before a period so my mind is telling me it's IB. I do get my hopes up every month though with something or other! So we'll see. It's probably my body playing tricks on me. It's just a very light tinge on blood in my cm when I wipe and in my underwear. Could be hormones! Or stress.
Any other stories anyone?

I am about 6 weeks pregnant and I had two days of mostly brown but some red bleeding 5-6 days before my BFP. The bleeding was like the start of my period and I thought it was strange that it had come early. About 4-5 days early. I used tampons! Then after less than 48 hours it just stopped. I probably could have had a BFP before the 5-6 days because it was a strong positive immediately!

@Sparkles715 sounds exactly like me! Hopefully it's good news. Going to wait to see if my period is late though as I always test way too early and I am always disappointed. Purposely haven't bought any tests yet because of this. Congratulations on your pregnancy, how are you feeling so far?

I had no bleeding, but I had terrible cramping 4 days before my BFP. It was like really bad period pains but way too early for my period. So much so that I kept going to the toilet convinced there would be blood when I wiped but there was nothing. Best of luck to you!

Hi 👋🏻 I had prolonged implantation bleeding at about 4 weeks until 6 weeks. Tell your midwife and if they're concerned they'll send you into the early pregnancy unit for a scan. That's what happened with me at week 6 and got a follow up week 8 - both times baby was absolutely fine and I'm coming up to 12 weeks in a couple of days. So try not to worry xx

I feel.... normal! Which makes me worried. Time is going to slowly right now.

Hi there, I have had implantation bleeding for 8 days now, it hasn't been particularly heavy and it is now very light but still the tissue isn't completely clean old blood or orangey .... I tested positive for pregnancy at the weekend. Worried as most people only get implantation bleeding for a couple of days... Worried as I had a miss carriage last year...
