Have any of you had it? If so, did you go on to have healthy pregnancies afterwards?
I've just had a baby and was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome and now my partner doesn't want anymore children through fear of losing me.
Obviously I'm not in a rush to have more babies but I certainly want another child in a few years.
I've been told it's safe for me to get pregnant again but I'll need to reassure my partner.

My sister in law had this first time around with her son and has gone on to have a beautiful baby girl without any complications. Maybe find out what your percentage risk is of it reoccurring in subsequent pregnancy, that might put it in perspective for your partner?

Hello, i had this with my son 5 years ago. I had a healthy pregnancy all the way throigh until 38weeks, platlet count was ridiculously low and they induced me. Very scary labour and me and my boy were very lucky. Labour was a blur to me and still is think i blocked it out but hearing from my partner and mum that im lucky. Im currently pregnant. My partner is worried. Before i was pregnant i was like ill be fine but now its happening i feel myself getting anxious. Got my notes last week and on nearly every page is details of my hellp syndrome and classed as high risk. Been prescirbed asprin to take every night and waiting for my consultant app. Just praying everythjng will be ok this time.
Before i was diagnosed with hellp i hadnt even heard of it . Glad you are ok xx
