16 week appointment heartrate

Hi everyone,

We had a gender scan and she told us that she was 99.9% its a little girl...but with the Doppler today at 16 week appointment she said heart rate was 135 which is normal but I thought the lower end meant having a boy....is this just an old wives tale? xx

It's just an old wives tale that's been disproven many, many times.

Thank you, I will go by scans they will be able to see the bits so makes sense!

Old wives tale. I was in hospital for 7 weeks and had heartbeat every day and it was all over the place. There were mostly boys born on the ward and their heartrates were all different
