Good morning Mumsnet!
We have a girl due at the end of August.
We have been set on Daisy as a name since the day we found out she doesn't have a willy. My son is in love with the name Daisy, everyone refers to her as Daisy.
Daisy is going to be her middle name, but more than likely what we will all continue to call her (my sister has been Muppet since the day she was born).
We'd like a more grown up/professional/neutral sounding name for her official name. Alexandra has been the front runner for months now and we were pretty much confirmed. My son is Adam, and their last name is an A name, so it sounded good enough to me.
Now I just feel like four syllables are too many. Especially given a middle name and a hyphenated last name of 14 letters. It just all feels too much.
Can I get some suggestions for a pretty A name that will go with Daisy, but not leave my poor child writing out the entire alphabet anytime she has to fill in a form?
