Hi ladies!
I'm 31 weeks this weekend and last night I went to bed as normal and I was woken up after midnight by baby really beating the crap out me! He normally doesn't wake me but he did this time.
Then all of a sudden I was in a world of pain! My stomach just went into full spasm and I had to call my mom round (DH was on night shift) as I thought I was going into labour.
Spoke to MU and they said to get up walk around and take paracetamol.
Anyway after around 1 1/2 hours the pain subsided and midwife said that baby has probably moved into a really awkward position that clearly caused me a lot of grief!

It was so intense! Far worse than the BH I've had to date! I genuinely thought I was going into labour as the pain was constantly there but the intensity was coming in waves.
I got up this morning and other than the feeling of a dull ache, like a period pain I feel fine!

Anyone else experienced anything like this?

I had exactly this at around 36 weeks with my second. I was sure it was labour as it was so so painful, it made me throw up, but I was confused as the pain persisted rather than come in waves. I went to hospital and the pain tapered off after about an hour and I felt daft, but they said he probably did a big old turn and briefly lodged himself somewhere weird. I didn't go in to labour until 40 weeks exactly so it didn't actually do any harm but it felt awful. He only did it the once, so hoping yours is now comfy too and won't do it again to you!

Thank you @eandz13 for your reply.
The little tinker is still giving me grief now but no where near what I experienced last night!
Glad I'm not the only one who's had this!
Clearly I have a fidget for a son! 😂
Hopefully he will keep cooking for at least another 7-8 weeks 🤞🤞
