Pain between contractions?

Hello

I’m 39+4 and have woken this morning with belly aches and cramps. It feels like an upset stomach, but I haven’t had diarrhoea.

The cramps are enough to make me stop and concentrate when they come and I feel them in my back too, so I’m wondering if this is labour, but I’ve got a constant period ache in between cramps too - did anyone else have this or do I just have a bad belly??

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I had constant pain when I was in labour. No break between contractions as such, they just got stronger but it was always painful! The epidural was a godsend Grin so it could be!

Could be I've had 3 children and same as @Kittykat93 no break between contraction's, only time I felt them in my back was with DD and that was because she was back to back, also an upset tummy could be a sign too, was for me x

Good luck fingers crossed for you x

Thank you both - paracetamol and a bath has helped the pain in between. Fairly convinced things are started up. Ouch! 🤞🏻
