Sorry I have asked this before but it's happened again and after speaking to different midwives at the hospital I'm feeling very confused and worried

I noticed yesterday again a slight damp patch in the knickers (sorry if tmi) I didn't feel damp or feel anything coming out and it was only when I went to the loo and looked that I realised.

One midwife has said totally normal just extra hormonal discharge but another seemed to think it was something to watch.

Has anyone else had this? It's literally just a damp patch in my knickers, no smell to it that I have noticed

Thanks for any help Smile

I'm 37 weeks now and have had this a lot during pregnancy.....the number of times I've thought my waters were leaking! The best way to double check is to put a pad on and see how it is in an hour or so.

It could be watery discharge, sweat or urine....all very common in pregnancy.
If you're concerned though, you can buy pads from boots (and other places too) called amniosense or something like that which test for amniotic fluid.

I had this a coupe of times and went to triage and it was just discharge. However, I suggest you go to triage and get them to check it just in case it's a leak of amniotic fluid. It took about 2 hours for them to check but it's worth doing it.

My underwear are constantly damp from about second trimester onwards both pregnancies !! I wear panty liners now . I don’t know if it’s sweat, urine or discharge . When my waters broke ( and slowly leaked ) at 37 weeks it was completely different from this dampness. I know it’s not always so obvious for everyone though .

Yep same, covered in sweat on warm days or after exercise, maybe some wee and discharge too. It’s a lovely time!
