It varies from trust to trust. You should be able to look it up on your hospital trust website, but if you want to share roughly what area you are in, people might have experience with that particular place?

Yeah it was a while after. Was induced with the gel at about 4pm and was moved to labour ward at 2am where they broke my waters.

I think most places are allowing the birth partner in when you're in active labour (4cm dilated) and/or when you're moved to the delivery suite - you need to check with your individual health trust though.
