Bright red bleeding on day period due

Can anyone please help?
I thought I have all the symptomps of pregency this month then started bleeding same day period due but usually lighter than my period and it lasted 4 days usually it lasts 5-6 days heavily.

I am confused now could it be just lighter period ?
Or is there anyhope?

Umm... Take a pregnancy test?

I did took one day before my period but it was negative.so I was convinced I am not but now after this unusual period I am confused again.might test now at the weekend again.

So you’ve had a negative pregnancy test and you started bleeding the day your period was due? Sounds like it’s just your period, sorry. Unfortunately, sometimes symptoms of PMS can mimic early pregnancy.

Even during my first pregnancy I never tested positive untill 2 weeks after missed period.

And reason for my worry this time is that I didnt feel any paon during period and now wjen bleeding has stoped I am having pain in my abdoemen.

If your previous pregnancy took 2 weeks to show it then you never know.

Don't quote me but I think I've seen tgat pale pink or browny colour could be linked to pregnancy (I used to get pinky light bleeds during my first trimester when my period was due) - but red red is a period. Have a quick Google, you'll pick up some (graphic) pics that may help.

Could just be your period or could have been a chemical?

My early pregnancy symptoms were the exact same as pms so the only way I knew I was pregnant was because I missed a period then got a BFP

Has any one exoerience light bleeding/spotting on 12th day of cycle? I know its too early for it to be implantation bleeding any Idea what it could be? Never had this before?

Hiya, just read your posts from July. I think you need to stop analysing and just wait to see what a pregnancy test says when your period is due. Good luck on due date!

If your test is negative and you’re bright red bleeding, I would assume you aren’t pregnant.

My advice, wait till you are a week or so late for your period, and then test. That way you’ll know for sure and won’t need to be worrying about it

@tas24 I have had a similar experience to you, I had a BFN on 18/09 at 11DPO then the next day I started spotting then full flow the next day, this only lasted 4 days (I'm not sure what is normal for me), however as my temps were still high I took a test yesterday which was positive, confirmed by a clear blue digital! I have a scan at the EPU on Monday to find out if it was a chemical or what the situation is.
