I think it's hard to say without knowing what you're like anyway. Had you eaten before this was taken? Need to use the loo? Only you know if that's a bump. 5 weeks seems early to me to show.

That’s bloating if you’re 5 weeks.

The baby is the size of an apple seed...even if there were 2 you wouldn’t have a bump at this stage! Even with my second I was about 20 weeks before I had a proper bump.

It’ll come and go as your body changes in the early days.

At 5 weeks it's bloat.
Baby bump will start to make an appearance later on, on average closer to 20 week mark ☺️

Thanks ladies, this was taken before eating, took another after eating and was the same. I dont normally get bloated unless I eat lots of bread and stuffSmile and time of month, yeah I can imagine lots of changes to be happening just first time I have seen this so it threw me out a bit haha

My bloat was ridiculous throughout the first trimester.....i had a rock hard belly from pretty early on and looked 6 months pregnant!

My actual bump only really started to appear at 14 weeks but it was closer to 20 weeks before other people noticed it. Looking back now, my bump was actually quite small and I could still hide the fact I was pregnant (if I was so inclined) in baggy tops until well over 30 weeks.

The bloat happens because your digestive system starts to slow down, rather than due to eating bread etc. as far as I'm aware.
