Hi ladies I was just wondering how many of you actually feel your babies during the night for example when your asleep do you get woken up by them or do you generally feel them for a bit before you go to sleep then that's it until the morning?

I am 24 weeks and feel my daughter when I am going to sleep and in the night when I wake up for a wee in the night.

@Bellsx I sometimes feel gentle movements or little kicks during the night if I've woken up to turn over, nothing to keep me awake though, but i am only 25 weeks.
Although the other morning I did get woken up to baby having hiccups 😂
How many weeks are you?

LatteLover12 · 21/07/2020 20:44

I'm 31 weeks and baby doesn't wake me up at night. I usually feel him early morning when I wake up for the obligatory 4am wee...

36+5 and I've never been woken up by baby moving.

I get woken up by plenty of other things like needing a wee and struggling to get comfortable and leg cramps and heartburn etc but not baby!

I'm 35 weeks and the movements aren't big and uncomfortable enough to wake me up during the night. When I go to bed and when I wake up early in the morning, it's definitely baby's most active time of the day, with plenty of big kicks, so I assume he's moving during the night too. Generally, you get most movements when you're still and resting.

Thank you ladies. I'm 35+5 and was just curious as to whether he should be moving (obviously not all night) actually during the night as well. If I need to get up for a wee or when I don't settle straight away then I feel him, like last night I was awake around 1.30am and he had the hiccups and also my partner gets up around 5 every day so that sometimes disturbs me so again he will have a little fidget but otherwise I don't really feel him from going to sleep until I wake up so was just wondering if that's okay. Always worrying about something!

That sounds totally normal. I'm pregnant with my second and neither baby's movements have actually woken me. Plenty of other pregnancy related things have woken me but not kicks.
