Hi, I’m driving myself crazy symptom spotting at the moment and would like to hear your stories of early symptoms before BFP.

I haven’t been tracking my cycles lately so not certain when AF is due but roughly this weekend. I think I ovulated around 6th July. Last week I had sharp pains in my right hand side for a few hours. The last 3 days I’ve had period pains all day but still no bleeding. I normally get them when I’ve started my period but not 4/5 days before.

I’ve also been emotional, tired and bloated but this is common PMS for me.

What are your thoughts? Have you experienced similar and got a BFP?

About a week after I ovulated, I was getting awful shooting pains in my lower back which now I know was implantation pains.

The only symptoms I had before my BFP was that I was more tired than usual and extremely moody! I also had period like cramps and was convinced AF was about to start. I tested at 10dpo and got a negative, but tested again on the day AF was due and got a dark BFP!

I definitely did. I didn't realise that at the time, I thought all the cramps, queasiness and insanely painful and sensitive boobs are just PMS. It lasted for good 5-6 days before my period was due.

Then on the Saturday it was due I came home from shopping and ended up feeling so bad and weak, I went to bed and took a freaking flu drink, absolutely sure that I was coming down with something. On Monday I woke up and I just knew all the weirdness I'm feeling is pregnancy, not a flu or the period coming. By that time, on top of all the pains I also got a constant extremely wet feeling down there. Double checked my cycle tracking app and sure enough, it was obvious what's going on. I deliberately didn't want to do the test for a few more days Grin so I ended up doing one 6 days after my period was expected and got a BFP.
