Hi everyone,

I’m nearly 24 weeks with my first baby and I still haven’t gained any weight... Before pregnancy I weighed around 66kg with a bmi of 24ish so not skinny but not overweight either. I’m now around 64.5kg...
I didn’t have excessive morning sickness and I’m eating reasonably well.
I have been doing more walking since lockdown but I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had this as online it says you should have gained like a stone by now!!! And I’m starting to worry. Baby girl was measuring overall on 48th percentile at last scan and head and femur were 33%

Similar to me, I lost weight and then it came after about 6-7 months.

Hello I have similar worries. I’m almost 25 weeks and have not gained much weight at all. I was a healthy weight before (22 bmi) and I’m eating healthily but no different to normal. I’m finding that I don’t snack as much when WFH but I can’t really thing why I wouldn’t have gained weight. I spoke to my midwife about my worries but she didn’t seems very interested. Don’t have much advise to offer other than you are not alone in your worry. From much of the reliable info I have read (nhs etc) there doesn’t seem to be much emphasis on suggested weight gain so I’m hoping to doesn’t matter too much.

Thanks, yes my midwife doesn’t seem overly bothered and I guess the main thing is that baby is measuring fine

I was a similar weight to you pre-pregnancy. Lost a bit in first trimester. Now almost 28 weeks and only 3lbs heavier than pre-pregnancy weight. I have a very obvious bump but don’t look pregnant at all from the back (have gone out frontwards rather than sideways!). Have lost weight from my face, thighs and bum. Baby seems to be taking what it needs.
