I am 32wks and have so far had no nipple discharge...does this mean I have no milk and wont be able to breastfeed?? I keep reading about women leaking and stuff but I'm as dry as can be...why??

I never leaked while I was pregnant and fed DS2 for 13 months and am still feeding DS3 at 7 months

Don't worry about it - it's not compulsory

NormaStanleyFletcher · 29/09/2007 20:55

I never had any at all with my first two and successfully BF both of them for 6 months and 12 months respectively.

I wouldn't worry, really.

ItsPotatoesForYouMyLad · 29/09/2007 20:56

Please don't worry. I thought it was unusual to leak in pregnancy rather then the norm, and certainly as early as you are. I never leaked in 2 pg, and bf both over a year.
Good luck.

It doesn't mean a thing, honest! Some women leak during pregnancy, some don't. It has no impact whatsoever on your ability to feed or produce milk once the baby's actually here.
