A buggy board helped me.

Perfect prep machine, mam bottles, isofix car seat (would have invested in swivel for both Dc if I could go back), decent comfortable sling for the early weeks

Sling for baby & buggyboard for the toddler. Also a special box of toys that come out at feeding times.

A double buggy.
A sling.
Something that can play continuous white noise (an app or Spotify) as that was crucial to the baby napping while the 2yo crashed around.

I have to go against the grain here and say i wouldn't have found a double buggy lt buggy board helpful. Dc1 was over 2 and a half, out the buggy walking and for a month or two of use of a buggy board it would have been a waste of money. Single buggy and sling I would reccomend and then baby in buggy and toddler walking where possible. It obviously depends on the child though.
