I feel so worried that something is wrong.

I only had tiredness but at 9week+1 it disappeared.

I've stopped needing to pee in the night too.

I had a scan at 7weeks+6 and baby had a perfect heartbeat but I have a feeling its stopped growing now.

Has anyone got any words of wisdom or encouraging/reassuring words?

My 12 week scan is 2 weeks away and I can't afford a second private scan :(

Yes that is normal!! My symptoms went away at 10 weeks. But then came back at 14 weeks!

MummyGoingItAlone · 19/07/2020 21:12

Mine went at 10 weeks too. I was so sick and then literally overnight I felt fine again. I am sure all is well

SallyCinnamon3009 · 19/07/2020 21:12

12 weeks here didn't have lots of symptoms anyway but most have disappeared now same happened with DS. Got my 12 weeks scan on Tuesday

sel2223 · 19/07/2020 21:14

It's normal for symptoms to come and go throughout pregnancy and for them to increase/decrease in intensity.

It's also normal to start feeling really anxious before the dating scan and to start convincing yourself that something is wrong.

Bettie2192 · 19/07/2020 21:18

@EssJayyCee don’t worry yourself about it hun it’s totally normal, my symptoms seemed to all disappear about ten weeks as well. I’m now 20 weeks and all is well with baby :) I still get the odd day of feeling sick, and I’m starting to get more tired now I’m growing more, but for a good 7 or 8 weeks I felt like I wasn’t even pregnant!

EssJayyCee · 20/07/2020 19:41

Thanks everyone. I hope you're all right.

I have started having really mild cramps tonight while sat watching tv now I'm really scared! :(
Is it normal to cramp at 10 weeks?

OP posts:
Bettie2192 · 20/07/2020 20:24

@EssJayyCee I have found this to be normal for me, all the way along I’ve had cramps, ranging from very mild to making me say ‘ouch’ out loud! There’s lots of growing and stretching going on inside your body even though you can’t see any of that yet from the outside. Plus pregnancy hormones messing with your digestive system can make you feel like you have cramps because of trapped gas etc. I’ve had some cramps as recently as the last two days and I’ve just had a 20 week scan showing a perfectly healthy baby.
However if you feel like your cramps are getting more painful please ring a doctor or midwife, they should always take you seriously even if it turns out to be nothing.

EssJayyCee · 22/07/2020 13:03

Thank you @Bettie2192 you have been really helpful 😊

The last couple of days my CM seems to have gone. Is this normal too or is this a sign of miscarriage?
I thought it was meant to get worse as pregnancy continued??

Bettie2192 · 22/07/2020 13:12

@EssJayyCee again this doesn’t sound abnormal to me, I haven’t had an abundance of CM throughout my pregnancy. I get the odd day where I seem to have loads, usually when I’ve been especially active like a long walk, then it just goes back to normal for a while. Everyone is different and personally a lack of CM wouldn’t worry me. I’ve never heard of CM levels having any indication of a MC. I wouldn’t expect heavy regular CM until later in the pregnancy I don’t think.
How are your cramps now?

Rosebiscuit · 22/07/2020 14:14

10+3 here (all being well). I only have cramping/pulling, tiredness and occasional sore boobs. I had the mildest of nausea for a few days but nothing compared to what many women get. I've been scanned twice, once at 8+6 and again at 9+4 because of a one-off bleed and all is well, apparently. Second pregnancy after blighted ovum (7 weeks) in March so I feel your anxiety. I mentioned lack of symptoms (apart from cramping and tiredness) to my midwife on Friday and she said that hormones come in peaks and troughs, not in a steady stream, so you'll be affected differently from time to time, or that might be all you get and you're just 'lucky'. She also told me not to worry because all that we know is good news. Congratulations, you! I'm sure all will be well but you must contact your doctor if you really feel you need the reassurance. xxx

Bettie2192 · 22/07/2020 18:22

@Rosebiscuit very good advice :) glad all is going well with your pregnancy, you sound a bit like me, I’ve been very lucky with my nausea etc compared to a lot of women. I have felt rough but actually think I’ve got off lightly!
Like you said, symptoms can come in waves. You can have nothing but sore boobs all week, then suddenly that goes and something else appears instead!

LAURAPAX · 04/08/2024 21:19

How did you get on OP? I’m in the exact same after two miscarriages and panicking xxx

EssJayyCee · 07/08/2024 19:10

@LAURAPAX Everything turned out absolutely fine. I am now sat here with my 3.5 year old DD ♡

Congratulations @EssJayyCee thats great news to hear! Hopefully this will
be me in the future. Only two weeks to go to 12wk scan. I’ve had 5 scans already 🤪 xx

EssJayyCee · 09/08/2024 19:53

@LAURAPAX Aww not long to go! The anxiety reduces the most when you start feeling movements. It won't be long xx
