Precipitous labour - any experiences?

My Mum, aunt and sister have all had precipitous labours.

I'm low risk and thinking about asking for a home birth, but concerned with covid this won't be allowed.

If you have the baby outside hospital by accident, are you required to go into hospital or will a midwife come out to you?

I really don't want to give birth then immediately be driven into hospital, only to wait there overnight for newborn checks.

Please note, I don't want a freebirth. I'm worried about what happens/process if you give birth unexpectedly fast.
