Nuna mixx adaptor ring

Hi

We've just bought the nuna mixx travel system, well it's just arrived I should say, ready for baby's imminent arrival.

As part of the travel system there's an adaptor ring for the car seat to go on to the pram. We're a bit confused because the car seat goes on to the pram just fine without it.

Does anyone know the benefit / need for the adaptor?

Thanks.

It's supposedly more stable and more secure, since it uses the locking mechanisms it attaches to the car seat base. Assuming you got a Nuna car seat as part of the travel system.

Yeah we got the car seat with it. I'll link to what we got.
We tried it both ways and neither seems more sturdy than the other. I don't know if it's just a gimmick or if it's really needed. Obviously if it's safer I'll use it.

That's what we got too. Tbh, we found the ring a bit useless. We rarely needed to travel in the car somewhere, then need the pram.

However, IMO, it did make the car seat feel more stable. Also getting the car seat off the pram was much easier.

We'll give it a go then thank you. Baby isn't here yet but just pushing the empty pram feels really nice and smooth 😊 the only thing I'm surprised and disappointed at is the size of the basket, I thought it was going to be much bigger.
Are you pleased with it over all? @Dyra

This is the travel system I’m really interested in. I was worried about the carrycot size already as I’m really tall and worried I’ll have a long baby, so you think it seems much smaller than others you’ve seen? Haven’t actually looked at any in person yet!
