is it normal to have a tiny bump at 32 weeks. midwife said my baby is growing normally and everything's good but i just can't help stressing about it. it's my first baby but still has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, you look like I did at 9 months! Grin

The midwife said it was perfectly normal as I was young, slim and had strong stomach muscles.

I still gave birth to a seven pounder though.

Mine has always been fairly small....i had a non pregnancy related ultrasound at 29 weeks and the person scanning missed that i was pregnant on my notes. She got a shock when she started scanning and said she'd never have guessed i was pregnant (my already small bump disappeared when lying down).

I'm 36 weeks now and there's no hiding it but it still looks a lot smaller than other bumps I've seen. I think it properly 'popped' around 33 weeks and I can't see it getting much bigger.

I'm 35 weeks on this pic

I had this (both times) and people made a lot of comments as they expect all pregnant women to be huge. Both babies were 8lbs so bang on average size.

MissingCoffeeandWine · 17/07/2020 11:37

I had this. I’m 38 weeks pregnant in this photo - in a very tight dress. Bump finally ‘poped’ in my third trimester but I still stayed little (and lots of people made rude comments about how “tiny” I was). Some colleagues hadn’t realised I was pregnant until I announced my last meetings before mat leave and put in place my plans for cover. Ps. For context, Little one was born a week after this pic, at 7.5lbs.

With my first pregnancy my bump wasn't big. But this time I feel hugggggeeeee. I'm only 24 weeks but I look as big as I did when I was 32 weeks in my last pregnancy.

In my first pregnancy my bump was absolutely huge. Had all the “ooh you’ve not got long left” comments from about 25 weeks onwards.. I had late onset gestational diabetes and ended up giving birth at 36+6 8lb4! This time I’m 24 weeks with a practically none existent bump it’s so strange even the midwifes comment how “petite” I am. Makes you paranoid doesn’t it but as long as scans are all ok ect there’s nothing to worry about! Lots of ladies carry differently.

Ah I'm not alone! I've been sent this way by someone one another thread after panicking about my tiny bump. I'm nearly 29 weeks and finally getting the tiniest of bumps. People who dont know me dont realise I'm pregnant.
I see my midwife next Friday so I'm hoping she will reassure me.

Ladies enjoy the neatness! Wink I'm 22 weeks and I'm constantly asked if I'm sure there's only one in there! Second baby so bound to be that little bit bigger but yep I'm big but I feel enormous! Smile you all have beautiful bumps no matter what the shape! X

I wouldn’t say you have a tiny bump in your picture @julia2001, it looks in proportion to your frame.
