Hi

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a good bump cream? It’s quite itchy and especially my previous c section scare is getting itchy too

I was wondering this too. Also wondering if you need a specific stretch mark cream or if any good moisturiser will do? I have a bathroom cupboard full of unopened moisturiser from gift sets etc!

I got the same too lol but none of them are really specific for itchy tummy or stretch marks

Hi, I started off using bio oil but it seemed to make me more itchy.
So I got some baby moisturiser by Childs Farm, its lovely and creamy and absorbs in well. I use it every morning and so far I've not got any stretch marks, but I'm only 24 weeks. Leaves my bump feeling nice and soft and supple. Would definitely recommend it.

I've been using the Palmers stuff. I've got a couple of stretch marks now, at 38 weeks, but they only showed up at about 35/36 weeks. My mum gave me a Cowshed oil that's specifically for growing bumps & stretch marks, but I find it takes quite a while to soak in, which just isn't as practical for me.

I've been using the nivea in shower moisturiser (the shea one for very dry skin), more so because I can just whack it on in the shower and be done with it.

I didn't expect much from it but it really helped my itchy belly and the flaky skin Ive been left with in pregnancy.

Few stretch marks around my bum and hips but I don't think anything will keep those away 😢

I've been using a mixture of Palmers Stretch Mark cream (cheap at B&M), and almond oil, which MIL recommended to me. I got a litre bottle of the latter for about a fiver.

I've bought Neals Yard Mothers Balm which is specifically for stretch marks. It's so lovely! 😍 Stops my itchiness and no stretch marks so far 🤞🏼

Almond oil, hands down.
