Hi all,

So, I’m now full term and have gained a lot more than I hoped.

My thighs are actually massive!!

I’m currently weighing 13 stone and started at 9.7

Someone please reassure me It won’t take years to lose the weight!

Hey. I was around 9st when I got pregnant with my second, 13 by the end of it!! I lost it quite quickly, with my first I struggled to lose the weight.
He turned two in May, still breastfeeding, and I’m now at 8st 10lb 🙂

I also started at 9st 7 and gained 3st. He's now 8 months and I've been back at 9st 7 for a good 2 or 3 months! Looking back a lot of the weight was just baby etc! X

Really annoying I’m not sure what I weighed at term with my DD. Two weeks post birth I was 10.6 with her and I’d be over the moon with that right now!

I put on 5 stone with DD1 and 4 stone with DD2 ( I like food!), no idea so far with this one, I'm too scared to weigh! I lost it pretty easily with the first two, breast feeding meant that although I still had watch what I ate I could still get away with a cake or something every day and lose.

I'm 33 weeks and have put so much weight on, at last check about 2.5 stone! Really not happy about it but haven't exactly done much to prevent it - lockdown + pregnant + biscuits! It's gone all over, legs, arms, face and I do feel like an absolute whale. Dread to think what I'll be by the end - although I am trying to make better choices now. Really hoping I can lose some fairly easily afterwards, but don't want to pressure myself too much.

@Sanch1 how long did it take you to lose it?

@mrs87you might not put on anymore now!

They were both summer babies and was back to pre pregnancy weight by Christmas both times.?

Sipperskipper · 17/07/2020 17:44

I put on 3.5 stone with DD and was back to pre birth weight within a month (thanks to breastfeeding and some rubbish postnatal anxiety!).

Stopped bf at 6 weeks and put on 4 stone within about 4 months. Ridiculous. Never lost it and am now 33 weeks pregnant again, although haven't put on a lb this pregnancy!

Breastfeeding helps the pounds to drop away if that works well, I was back to pre-pregnancy weight by 6 weeks without putting any effort in. I don’t think I had gained that much though, I had quite a small bump so was able to stay relatively active throughout.

(Won’t manage so well this time though! I’m 5 months with twins and about the same size as I was with DD when I was over 8 months...!)
