Small Bleed from Womb at 20 Weeks

I have had bleeding twice now after going to the loo - definately vaginal blood, and I haven't been constipated for a few weeks so not straining or anything. It is bright red, and enough to turn the loo water red. The first time there were tiny clots, this time none, but enough to fill a very thin pantyliner. Then the bleeding abruptly stops, as quickly as it started.

Last week I went to the hospital, they scanned me etc and said everything was fine, baby okay etc and no cause of bleeding seen by sonographer. They said to go back if it happened again, which it did today. So back I went, baby still looks happy wiggling about in there with a "perfect" heartbeat, but they said the bleeding isn't coming from the cervix or neck of the womb, it's coming from INSIDE the womb but they can't see where. Does anyone have any experience of this? How worried should I be? And is there anything I can do to encourage the womb to heal?

Thanks for reading.

I cant give you much advice, just I have a bleed in the womb and it hasn't affected my baby yet I'm only 15 weeks though and its been there since the start, I have been reading other stories from women who have a hemorrhage in the womb and their babies have been fine, I think if the sonographer isn't too concerned then you should take some comfort in that, just rest when you feel you need to and keep an eye on it and go back if it happens again, I wish you all the best but its good news that your baby is bouncing around with a lovely heartbeat 😀
