5 weeks and bleeding

5 weeks pregnant and just wiped and found blood I am absolutely terrified I am having another miscarriage! I had 2 previous to this pregnancy please has anyone got any positive stories?? I have had 2 successful pregnancy didn't bleed with them at all

Yes I had this at 8 weeks and then 15 weeks. Bled brown blood continuously between them both. At 20 weeks it all kind of stopped. I’m 35 weeks now. It could just be implantation bleeding

At 6 weeks with my second. It was implantation bleeding they think x

I had some blood when I wiped early on in my last pregnancy and all was ok, ring your epu in the morning. You might need progesterone to help support the pregnancy. Sending you virtual hugs that all will be ok. 🤞

Bleeding a bit more than last night now, got no cramps or pains as of yet, just waiting to find out if I can get an appointment with the EPU as advised by 111 this morning so hopefully I can get a scan done and see what is happening 🤞🏽

No advice but can offer a hand hold. It's terrifying after you have suffered previous losses. I hope you can get in to the EPU and they can advise you x

EPU won't see me just got to get on with it, take pain killers if I get any pain and repeat the pregnancy test in 2 weeks! Absolutely sick now 3rd miscarriage in a row during COVID-19 and been told the same thing 3 times now, this is going to be the longest 2 week wait ever! Only thing I'm clinging on to at the moment is I haven't had any pain or clotting 😢

I don’t understand why EPU can’t see you? Are they full? EPU should see anyone who is under 18 weeks pg as far as I know and do a scan. That’s how my hospital worked. Although EPU are only open mon to fri 9-5 for mine. Can you get a private scan done today for peace of mind?

@Samiiarm That’s horrible that the EPU couldn’t do anything. I know they’re hard pressed at the moment but even a reassuring chat about what could be happening and what you can do would probably have helped more than “just get on with it and pop some painkillers”. The only small comfort? If this pregnancy doesn’t end well, you would have had 3 miscarriages and would then qualify for a referral to a recurrent miscarriage clinic for further investigations. I hope the bleeding stops and all ends well.

Such a confusing time I have stopped bleeding now had no clotting

So sorry OP. I am in the same position. Now 5+6 at 4+5 I had some bleeding when I wiped, followed by intermittent days stopping, then a fair bit of blood (filled a panty liner) I haven’t had any since Thursday now.

Called 111. Told the same as you. Sit tight and wait two weeks.

I have booked a private 6 week scan.

I did a pregnancy test this evening, 1 week from start of spotting and it was a good solid
line still.

Fingers crossed for us both. The two week wait is absolute torment.

I’ve not had any clotting either.

Hi. Just wanted to say good luck!
I had bleeding (quite a bit and bright red!) at 12 weeks and then pink/brown discharge for a week after. I've had 2 scans since (one at EPU and on my dating/screening scan) and all is fine. They now think in might be an infection that caused it but nothing that is bothering the baby. X

I just done a test and got a big fat negative 👎🏼😢 absolutely gutted!
