Morning ladies just wondering what your opinions were on Marley, would you say it's more for a boy or girl?

The name Marley is a girl's name of English origin meaning "pleasant seaside meadow"

SauvignonBlanketyBlank · 15/07/2020 10:13

Boy

chunkyrun · 15/07/2020 10:14

I love it! I think of it as a unisex name

concernedforthefuture · 15/07/2020 10:25

A boy name. But more so a dog name.

Oreoreo · 15/07/2020 10:50

My friend called her son Marley, so I associate it more with a boys name

pinkcattydude · 15/07/2020 10:54

My boy cat’s name, his brother is Bob. It can be used for both but I see it more as a boy name.

I know a little girl called Marlie, but I'd say it's unisex!

Shmithecat2 · 15/07/2020 11:01

It's a name you give a pet, not a child...

Footlooseandfancy · 15/07/2020 11:01

Boy but I always think dog after that tear jerker film. Sorry.

AngelaScandal · 15/07/2020 11:04

Literally all I can think of is the dog

LH1987 · 15/07/2020 11:08

Love that name!would have thought girl but still like it for a boy.

TinyMetalBirds · 15/07/2020 11:14

I would think girl first but would not be surprised if it was a boy.
I think it is a pretty name, I know a little girl called Mally (don't know if it is short for anything) which is lovely too.
