Hi all,

Im 19 weeks pregnant

So earlier today the chair in my study collapsed and sent me crashing to the floor. I hit my bum on the floor hard, luckily not from a major height. I had a little cry after but i think mostly from shock.

Now i feel ok except sore back and bum. I also feel that the baby has moved positions and im having stretching pain, as usual but more noticeable.

Should i be worried? Should i get checked out?

I think you're just bruised as falling on the base of your spine hurts like a bitch! And you didn't fall on your belly which is what I did a few weeks ago! 🤦🏻‍♀️
However it's always best to get checked out if you're worried. The MAU are brill so they give you a good checking over if you do go.
Hope you're ok 💐💐

I'm sure it's fine, but definitely get checked out if you are worried. You won't relax until you do anyway.

I fell down the stairs at 17 weeks snd really hurt my coccyx.
I was flying the next day and could hardly move so had to call the gp who prescribed short term codeine.
I was in agony for weeks with it but it did eventually sort itself out. I'm qlmost 36 weeks now with no pain and baby is fine.
