8 week private scan

Hi Girls
Has anyone had a private scan at 8 weeks and can share how it went?
I’ve booked one and I’ll be around 8 weeks 4 days xx

I had one at 7+5. Thought i was 8 weeks, but baby has caught up and is now 5 days ahead of what I thought due date would be.
It was nice to see baby, but I didn't see much, more just a blob with a heart beat.
I would wait til nearer 9 or 10 weeks if there was a next time.
Also it was internal scan, but it wasn't too uncomfortable.

I had a scan when I thought i was 7+5 but baby only measured 6+1. It was transvaginal and I heard the heartbeat.
I went back 2 weeks later and baby measured 8+2. The second scan was abdominal, the heartbeat was even stronger and there was alot more to see on the screen (baby was still teeny but was more of a familiar shape rather than just a blob).
