Had my baby on the 12th. Found feeding her easy after birth but now can't get her to latch onto my left breast. I try the nose to nipple but she doesn't open her mouth and just sucks on nothing. Have tried multiple positions. Am now so sore on that side I have to keep using my right instead. Also tried pumping that side and only get tiny drops and the pump is making my nipple solid and sore... Any tips?

I know you've said you've tried different positions but have you tried the rugby ball? I struggle on one side and this was the only position I could get DS to latch. After a few weeks and he was bigger a MW made me try a different way as the rugby ball can get sore on your back and he latched first time.

The reason why I suggest the rugby ball is someone else said the same thing, could only get a latch on one side with the rugby ball.

Hope this helps

Mine would only latch on one side unless I lay down with him and fed him side to side.

Turns out he had tongue tie, once we'd had it snipped he fed fine on both sides.
