34 weeks breathless

Anyone else breathless? I'm almost 35 weeks and feeling very breathless today even sat down. Just a little worried as I have asthma too.

37 weeks and felt the same today. But it felt so airless this morning was very close and muggy x

@Jj2431 have you bad this a while or has it just come on suddenly?

It's a fairly common 3rd trimester side effect as everything is very squished in there now but if it's a sudden onset and you've got asthma then best to get it checked out.

I'm 35+5 and gasping like an old woman doing anything now.....walking or even just climbing the stairs etc is such a chore.

Definitely get your iron levels checked. I had similar on my last pregnancy turns out I was severely anemic giving birth which was not ideal. On iron this time. Could just be baby needing room but easy one to rule out.
