Hi everyone, I’m writing this because I’m driving myself absolutely crazy. I have been TTC with my husband for 2 years. I have recently been diagnosed with PCO in my left ovary.
Last Sunday I got my first BFP on FR and followed it up with a Clear Blue digital that predicts a date. It put me at 1-2 weeks.
My last period was 9th May - but with PCOS, I sometimes go many months skipping a period.
I take my internal temp to monitor ovulation. I believe I ovulated on the 23rd of June and my temperatures remained super high. I believe I might have conceived between then and the 27th of June. As you can probably tell, I have no idea how far along I am.
Today I went for a Transvaginal scan due to some brown discharge I started to notice last Friday. The “bleeding” is only visible when I wipe or it comes up as a dot in my underwear if I’ve been up and about. I was told to book in at the early pregnancy unit to rule out any issues.
The doctor put me at 9 weeks based on my last period. I knew that was impossible and I believe I’m earlier than that.
On the scan they could only see a gestational sac measuring 4 mm and that my endometrium was measuring at 19 mm. They also said I had an anteverted uterus. There was no yolk sac or fetal pole.
They took my bloods and told me they’ll check my HCG again on Wednesday with hopes it would go up. They said the reasons they may not see a yolk sac is because I’m too early or that I’m starting to miscarry.
My ovia app puts me at 4 weeks and 4 days. Does this make sense? Should you be able to see more than a gestational sac in 4-5 weeks of pregnancy? Could I be only 3 weeks???
I’m so sorry for all of the questions and uncertainty. I haven’t properly slept since I noticed the spotting last Friday. I’m so worried. This is my first pregnancy and I’ve never wanted something so much in my life.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
