So to add to the list of never ending pregnancy symptoms I’ve had over the last 8-9 months, I now have piles as of the last week Sad.

I’ve been really constipated and not much helps, and feeling a lot of pressure down there which I’m assuming also is not helping.

I’m currently 35 weeks.

Is there anything I can do to stop them being so uncomfortable or is it pointless before baby comes? I’m assuming they’ll get even worse during labour and that is freaking me out, never had piles in my life so have no idea how to help them!!

Vagisil is great for piles, it has a higher concentration of lidocaine which is what is in the usual pile cream.

Try your gp too. Sometimes they are a bit funny about prescription stuff for piles in pregnancy but it's worth a try!

I have them too. 37+3. I've had them for the last 2 weeks. Nobody ever tells you about these delights ...😂
Mines aren't sore or itchy, yet anyway which is great.
My doctor prescribed Sheriproct cream(I'm finding this great) and a bit TMI but has said if you can push them in/back up, to do that. She told me not to worry about delivery. Most woman find they clear up quickly once the pressure of baby sitting there goes. So hoping that's true....

I haven't got them at the moment but had them in the past.
Anusol or Germaloid cream is safe in pregnancy and it really is good and gives some relief.
