Possible pre eclampsia symptoms or migraine?

Hello,

I have suffered with migraines and with aura from around 12 years old, but haven't had one for around 4 years until about 3 weeks ago when my eyes went funny and the impending headache came on afterwards. Got my BP and urine checked at my next monitoring and all was fine.

I've had the same visual disturbances again this morning (not able to focus on anything as half of every thing seems missing) and do have pressure behind my right eye but it hasn't developed into the blinding headache I normally would expect. I just feel sort of 'not with it' if that makes sense.

I took my BP with my parents' home monitor but don't know whether I'm even doing it right as the first reading was so high, 5 minutes later was still high but not as much and 10 mins later again it was almost normal (just the top no was a little high) the values changed so much each time I don't think I did it correctly.

I've no swelling or any other symptoms- 37 weeks today. Could this just be a migraine due to lack of sleep and changing hormones? Am I worrying myself unnecessarily?

I had severe pre eclampsia last pregnacy, so have been closely monitored this one.. have had a few high readings BP but then have been monitored and they have lowered.. it's been put down to stress, ice had a good few migranes and also sight issues ie starry eyes but it's not pre eclampsia it is put down to hormones ect.. try not worry as they will use the urine bloods ect to put into a bigger picture..

Hello. I would phone your midwife . Probably nothing but she would probably want to check you over. My GP said always get headaches checked in pregnancy .
