Gender reveal

We're having our gender scan next week.
Me and OH are planning to go for lunch after the scan and open the envelope together.
I was teying to think of a way of finding out together that's a bit more fun than just opening an envelope... Any idea?
I had thought of asking the restaurant to do soemthing with the pudding to reveal maybe... Or is that cheesy?!

So cheesy! Just get the sonographer to tell you at the scan. It's really not that much of a big deal.

I had to go to 20 week scan myself due to Covid and like you wanted to find out the gender with my husband. The Sonographer wouldnt write it down for me. My hospital doesn't allow it. Just to be aware. ☺

I think it’s a lovely idea.
Personally I’d find it really lovely just opening it together, maybe in a park or something? Somewhere that you can celebrate without feeling self conscious. I hope all goes well at the scan ♥️X

Speaking from experience - be prepared for your 20 week scan to be more about worrying medical news than a cutesy 'reveal'.

It's a private scan.exactly why we've booked a private one to find out together, rather than me on my own.

At the place you're getting the scan they maybe sell reveal items, I know when I went for a private scan they had coloured cannons and scratch cards etc I'm assuming they pick out the right colour for you and give it to you to open / scratch / let off!

I'd not be involving the restaurant. Very cheesy and -just no.
I'd want to enjoy the private moment not be watched by a bunch of strangers.
