Hello,

Just wondered if anyone else has had the same, as this is my first pregnancy so I’m not sure what to look out for.

I’m 35 weeks (almost 36) and for the last week and a half I’ve had such an upset tummy, it’s been crampy, aches, loads of pressure, I feel like I need a poo constantly (sorry tmi!) but I’m still as constipated as ever!

I’m not sure whether to be concerned, I had my urine tested at my midwife appointment and I’ve got test strips in the house and my wee is clear so no UTI or anything.

Is this just my body prepping for labour?

Have you taken anything for your constipation?

Hi OP, I'm 35+3 today and have had a really dodgy tummy lately.
I'm the opposite re constipation though as have diarrhoea/loose stools instead but the rest is the same.
Feeling very crampy and achy with lots of low down pressure and my heartburn is worse than ever.

Hi I'm 36 weeks and every morning I'm woken up by the need to rush to the toilet with an upset stomach, generally it's fine for rest of the day but only just recently started.
All I can think is its where baby is lying?!

I'm also 35 weeks and have been getting cramps/aches and pressure in my tummy. I think it's just baby getting in position and your body getting ready to give birth! Not long left now Smile

I'm 35+4 and been having this the last week too! I assumed it was my body getting ready, but the cramps have been bad today so getting paranoid I'm going to go into labour soon!
