Pregnancy

26/27 weeks and some spotting and tightenings??

When i went to loo this morning i noticed a little discharge in my knickers (the kind you get at the end or beginning of period.. iirc similar colour to show) Really not much at all and none on wiping. I have been also getting BH's more so over the last week. Am quite achey and feeling heavy around womb today.

Baby is moving and kicking well, placenta is nice and high. Am measuring slighty big for date and have GTT on 9/10. Had Gest Diabetes with ds1. Querying extra amniotic fluid too.

Had vivid dream of a show, waters breaking etc last nightwhich has helped!

Called hospital I am having this one at (out of area) and they wanted me to go in which i cant as ds is post op, DP in Japan and mum on Jury duty. No one else around. Reason would be to listen in heartbeat. They called local maternity hospital as wanted a midwife to come and see me at home. Local hosp called. Midwife said that I should try and rest (which i have been doing) and that the fact baby is active is good sign. As baby is moving no need to listen to heartbeat. IF I get any bright red loss or regular painful contractions I have to go in hospital and take ds with me. She said she could come out if i realy wanted her too but she feels it isnt really necessary. Also difficult as I am not having baby at their unit.

Feeling a bit anxious tho. Has anyone else had similar at this stage?

Any advice

I had loads of bledding throughout my pregnancy.

All the midwives said bleeding/spotting is common but not normal. I would get it checked out just to be on the safe side.

Its probably just because just stretching and some veins get in the way and tear alittle! - nice!

cazzy - you had tummy upset as well didnt you? wonder if linked. Spoke to my mum about it, under her strict instructions to relax, feet up and absolutely no lifting.
