Consultant concerned about weight gain

Hi all,

I'm 22+1 with my first baby (a girl) and so far I haven't gained any weight. In fact I'm about 2/3kg lighter than when I conceived. Before I got pregnant my bmi was about 24 so I wasn't overweight. I had my 20 week scan which showed baby on 48th percentile overall but on 33rd percentile for head circumference and femur length. But everyone seemed happy with that. After my scan I saw the consultant who seemed shocked and concerned that I haven't gained any weight and in fact weigh less than I did before. That was 10 days ago and I still haven't gained anything. Should I be worried? Has anyone else experienced this?

I don’t think this is uncommon and sounds like babies growth is ok. I hadn’t really gained anything by 28 weeks, and am just about 3kg heavier at 33 weeks.
