Has anyone bought anything nice lately? Everything I look at seems to be sold out! Due in November Smile

I just got an amazing bundle from ebay as an absolute bargain (like for real, each item of clothing must have cost about 30p). Labelled 'boys' on the listing but it's honestly mostly neutral (there are a couple of very blue items in there but I don't really care about gendered colours so will put baby in literally whatever). I've also seen some good value packs in Sainsbury's when I have been shopping too :-)

Thanks so much! @EithneBlue wow was that used I assume??
By neutral I guess I kind of meant both ways it’s been interpreted on here

Yeah, used but all in decent condition - newborn clothes usually get worn for like ... a month at most? Wash at 60 and they are good to go :-)

Very very true!

Also due November and I feel like there aren't any neutral things anywhere! (Other than h&m😂) DD1 was an April baby so for her we found so many things but this time round nothing so far.

I'm hoping that now lockdown has eased more stock will come into shops - and I'm also hoping the autumn stock for shops will bring more choice!

Also having this same issue 🙈 not finding out what we are having so looking for quite neutral to begin with but even after baby is here I’m not overly crazy on pink or blue so hoping the autumn will bring a bit more variety! I feel like I’ve hunted high and low for neutral things to get us started and I’ve barely got anything 🙈 got a few little bits from Asda and a couple of things from Mamas & Papas. Went to TK Maxx hoping for some bits but everything was pink and frilly or blue and frilly 🙈 although I did get some GroBag sleeping bags for a really good price so that was a bonus lol

I bought bundles from a few websites, dh and I went for colours, zoo animals and dinosaurs rather than neutral as I find white, grey, lemon and mint boring.

A few that we still order stuff from are:
babymoos.com
tobytiger.co.uk
patpat.com

DD still wears dinosaur stuff and we kept all the unspoiled grows and vests for DS.

New2020 · 12/07/2020 01:11

I had the same intention although I know I'm having a girl. Would have preferred clothes in pale pastels or greys but can't find anything in stock. Have ended up with a very pink selection!!!

peachypetite · 12/07/2020 08:02

@New2020 I just got some nice lilac bits for a friend on sainsburys.

If anyone else is a fan of monochrome I came across these on very, not somewhere I’d usually look and had matching bibs www.very.co.uk/v-by-very-baby-unisex-3-pack-animal-and-stripe-sleepsuits-blackwhite/1600446772.prd

@peachypetite Tesco have some super cute packs of penguin vests/baby grows. They had quite a few bits and pieces actually but I am trying not to buy much with mixed success!

peachypetite · 12/10/2020 14:57

@penguin423 what an apt user name haha. You can’t get tesco baby online can you. I’ll have a look in my local one.

Zara baby has lovely neutral colours and styles for newborn babies. Lovely colours :)

wigglerose · 12/10/2020 19:58

Ugh. I find that neutral stuff tends to be dull colours or white if it's resonably priced. It seems if you want bright, multicoloured neutral stuff it's really expensive.

sundowners · 12/10/2020 21:34

White Company (sale now on!) and Jojo Maman have some beautiful quality neutral print/colour sleepsuits x

penguin423 · 12/10/2020 21:36

@peachypetite haha I am a big penguin fan! Got them in store but these were the ones. Excuse the hat!

I agree with Asda! I'm not finding out either. If you want to brave the shops primark has some nice neutral tones stuff. Also a but pricey but m&s has some lovely bits

peachypetite · 14/10/2020 10:20

I did get some nice colourful ones from next but most is white, cream, grey.

MIL has given us some nice bits from John Lewis that I'd say are pretty gender neutral :)
