Bleeding HELP

Hi all, I'm 9 weeks pregnant today and we dtd this morning and I bled during and directly after. About a tablespoon and a bit when I wiped. It was red like a period but have since put a pad on and there is nothing on the pad. Each time I wipe there is a little bit on the tissue. I haven't got any cramps or clots etc... called the midwife out of hours and she assured me it is probably just my cervix expanding and as there is no clots not to worry! I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this? I could do with some positive stories please. I'm so scared. Thanks X

Try not to worry. Mc tends to come on thick and fast in my experience- like a very heavy period. Do you have period pains at all?

@Celibacydidntwork thanks for your reply. No period pains as it stands just still feel bloated and no appetite which was my only pregnancy sympoms anyway. Blood still not in pad only a little when I wipe, MW said to only come in Monday if it starts to clot or I get cramps so I'm hoping everything will be ok X

You've got more blood flowing in your cervix when pregnant and sex can abrade your cervix slightly causing bleeding. Just mention it to your midwife next time you see her.

Take it easy today, lots of people get spotting and light bleeds early stage. X

Hi I’m just under 6 weeks and I had brown bleeding Monday Tuesday and Wednesday on and off mainly when I wiped
Turned out my swabs came back with a thrush so it may of been that or it may of been the examination itself as they say the cervix is sensitive during pregnancy
I haven’t had any passed two days thank god so I’d say don’t worry as long as there isn’t lots of blood accompanied by pain I’d say things were ok
Good luck x

Have you had an early scan by now?
