Engaged with second baby

I'm 37 + 5 and on my notes it says I'm 1/5 engaged. I assumed this meant I needed to get to 5/5 to be fully engaged. But having read through my notes, there is an engagement explanation page and it states 1/5 or 0/5 means 'deeply engaged'.

It's been a long time since I had my first baby (decades!) But I thought subsequent babies didn't engage until labour started?

I'm having extreme pressure 'down there' along with strong braxton hicks and general aches and shooting pains. I've been having on/off period type cramping for weeks.

Could this mean I might go into labour early? I have a csection booked in 2 weeks and really didn't want to go into labour before then!

I can never work out the charts but my third baby has been in engaged since 27 weeks 🙈 at my 34 weeks scan (im 35 now) the midwife scanning me said ill see you in 3 weeks if you make it that far lol x

When I was pregnant I was 1/5 engaged for weeks. Even made it to 40+4
