I'm 37 + 5 and on my notes it says I'm 1/5 engaged. I assumed this meant I needed to get to 5/5 to be fully engaged. But having read through my notes, there is an engagement explanation page and it states 1/5 or 0/5 means 'deeply engaged'.
It's been a long time since I had my first baby (decades!) But I thought subsequent babies didn't engage until labour started?
I'm having extreme pressure 'down there' along with strong braxton hicks and general aches and shooting pains. I've been having on/off period type cramping for weeks.
Could this mean I might go into labour early? I have a csection booked in 2 weeks and really didn't want to go into labour before then!
