I’ve just been told by the midwife I should be taking vitamin D, is there any particular one you guys tend to stock to or is any ok as long as it contains 10ug? Thanks

Im no pharmacist but surely vitamin D is vitamin D. just get supermarket own brand and dont pay extra for a fancy label.

I take 10ug from my local chemist, however supermarkets stock it a lot cheaper usually at a 25ug dose, you'd just have to take it on alternative days

Well, folate is easier to absorb than folic acid, but if you don't know of any issues you've got with that, any folic acid is fine. An own-brand multivit can be good if you're not quite up to managing your diet perfectly.

BetterYou do a vitamin D spray that is really good. You spray it onto the inside of your cheeks.

I get mine from Amazon but Holland and Barrett stock it as well.

It might be a nicer option for you than a tablet, if you have any nausea, etc.
