Question about scan pictures

Does anybody know what the measurements on the scan pictures mean? There are 2 on mine - 2.5cm and 9.5cm - neither of which seem to make sense in relation to the fetus length (I'm 11 weeks). Sorry if this is a daft question....

hmmmmm. not sure...

sorry

sure someone else who knows will be along shortly

I know they measure the thickness of...something (cant remember now...the neck? back?) anyway they measure something to check for down syndrome I think.

9.5 would probably be the length of the baby, 2.5 possibly the femur length?

Okay - thanks everyone. Have another scan at 14 weeks so I'll try and uncover the mystery then!

foetal measurements chart here baby would be around 4 cm according to this chart

also, the measurements lornaloo mentions are not routinely done, they are only done at a nuchal translucency scan...

you could always call your MW and ask
