Admitted to triage

I'm 36+6 and baby has been breech for weeks. At an ultrasound today it is seen that baby is oblique breech and his growth has dropped from 90th to 50th percentile.

I have been sent to triage by the sonographer who says she thinks I may be admitted. Anyone had anything similar and any idea what might happen? I'm currently in a room waiting for somebody to come and speak to me.

I also have a lung scan tomorrow for a possible blood clot on lung so am injecting blood thinners, and am testing blood sugars 4 times a day for potential GD. Theres so much going on I just can't keep up anymore.

Anyone have any thoughts on what they may want to do?

Hello, how did you get on, were you admitted? Just wanted to share my experience...my baby had been transverse/oblique throughout pregnancy. My waters broke a week ago at 34+2 weeks. Because of baby position there is the risk of cord prolapse once waters have gone so I was admitted to hospital urgently. I remained in hospital and baby arrived on Sunday am after a very speedy labour. He continued to switch from oblique to transverse over those 4/5 days and I believe he should have been delivered sooner to avoid what ended in an emergency csection with him trying to get out shoulder first with cord prolapse.
Several drs were of the opinion I would be ok to go home and try and keep baby in until 37 weeks but my gut feeling was this could have been disastrous.
I hope they have kept you in/agreed close monitoring. As you are almost 37 weeks I would be pushing to get baby out as soon as I could. Hope all goes well for you x

Thank you all for your responses and support 💐

@Babyclark20 that sounds like a really scary process and birth. So sorry you had to go through that. I hope you and baby are okay now?

I have been booked in for a c section on Friday when I will be 37+2, they have not kept me in but I'm to go in for monitoring tomorrow and then back Friday for the c section 😊

That's great you have a plan.

Me and baby both recovering well thanks
Good luck with everything 🥰

Aww good luck for Friday. Both mine only got to 37+1 and 37+3 before a C-section for breech. All was good, healthy little boys.
