Where to test out prams/buggies...

Sounds mad. But since old faithful Mothercare has gone kaput, where is a good place to have a wheel around of different prams & buggies?

Currently scoping out different double buggy options, and I'm not too keen to spend lots on one I haven't been able to test drive!

TIA x

John Lewis stores usually have some on display which you can test drive x

There are usually private pram/baby shops that have lots on display (not just prams but furniture etc too). There might be one near you x

You can book an appointment with John Lewis via their website where the consultant will go through different prams etc with you and it's really helpful!

They're not pushy at all and helped us choose a pram :)

I found a small independent shop near me as John Lewis didn't have one of the ones I had my eye on, and I was a bit nervous about going into a big shop right now

I'm not sure if there's a one near you but we are going to mamas & papas this week to look at prams they have, I also struggled to think of places now there is no mothercare. x

Ahhh ok - good to know re John Lewis. Thank you all!

Our closest one (and closest Mamas & Papas) is quite a journey away, but we'll have to make a day trip of it! Will be worth it to see in person.
No local independent retailers either - boo.

Who'd have thought we'd all miss Mothercare so much Grin
