I'm waiting for my measurement this week but my belly is huge. I personally don't trust the measurements and planning a private growth scan at 32w or so. Curious to see what others say.

I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead from my fundal height, scan says 83rd centile. Going by my other babies, one born 8lbs 3oz (97th centile) at 37.5 weeks and the other born 8lbs exactly (80th centile) at 39 weeks I'd say they're probably pretty accurate on the estimate this time too.

If this is your first I'd be prepared for a smaller weight or a big baby as I've read so many people on here say they were expecting 9lbs+ and the babies have been born around 6-7lbs. I think it can be hit and miss lol

I wouldn't worry too much on the tape measure method, I measured weeks ahead for the 3rd trimester of my first pregnancy. They eventually sent me for a scan as I was having a "huge baby" but it was just all water. They called it something, but I just had a lot of amniotic fluid and baby was measuring normal size

@chloeyaj actually they did not in my notes my single deepest pool was 9.3... Which it at the higher end of normal for now it seems... I'm hoping that it's fluid!! I feel like I'm carrying a bowling ball 🙃
