Cot mobile

Sorry if this has been done before. I had a quick search but couldn't see anything.

My DH has bought me the most gorgeous mobile. I saw it online ages ago and it was super expensive so I never bought it but he got it as a surprise 💕

Anywho, now I'm worrying about the position it should go in. Or should we put it above the changing station as a distraction, plus baby will always be supervised on there.

Any thoughts welcome thanks 😊

We had one on the main cot, rather than the next2me, as I used to pop DC in there while I folded washing etc. She managed to get up at about 6 months and ripped it down.

If it's got calming lights and music that will help baby drift off then cot, if it's dangly things that baby wants to grab that that could be distracting for bedtime but could work over the changing mat.

Yeah it's dangly which is why I'm a bit hesitant to put it over the cot. It's so beautiful and handmade to order but it makes me nervous.
