I wouldnt have thought so, no that would mean you ovulated two weeks before the 27th at least and then ovulated again on the 27th. Have you taken a test

Annu786 · 06/07/2020 21:04

Yes it was positive and showed I was 3 weeks plus On clear blue advance test when I could of only been around 2 weeks so hcg levels are higher too

How many weeks pregnant are you ? About 6? The 3+ on those tests mean you conceived 3 weeks ago which would be correct

As per my period dates I’ll be 5weeks tomorrow

As for my ovulation date I would only be 3weeks today
When I checked on Sunday following missed period flashed up 1-2 weeks (which would be about right) 4 days later it flashed up 3+ weeks

You're already pregnant so it's not going to be implantation bleeding. It's potentially old blood that's just come out now, or normal spotting during early pregnancy, or an early miscarriage. You can only wait and see.

YoBeaches · 06/07/2020 22:28

No it doesn't mean twins. A fertilised egg can't survive that long without implanting, it happens within about 12 hours of fertilisation. Fertilisation happens within at 24 hour window that the egg is release and alive, which for you was a good 3 weeks ago.

Early pregnancy bleeding can be common, but it could mean other things too so stay rested and see what happens. If you're concerned phone your GP.

No i don't think it indicates twins necessarily. Early bleeding can happen in singleton or twin pregnancies.

High HCG can be an indicator but CB tests aren't an accurate measurement of that you would need a blood test.

I had twins and had bleeding around 6/7weeks pregnant and 10weeks. Both occasions were brown discharge which my GP said was old blood which could be dislodged by changes in the cervix and expansion of my womb. I did have high HCG which was confirmed by blood tests.

I had a day of implantation bleeding (6dpo I think), a day of nothing, and then another separate day of implantation bleeding (8dpo). I only have one baby

Thanks for sharing your experience
Was it a routine blood test or do you have to ask the midwife to do a particular one
Also your symptoms when did they start are did you find they were stronger

No it wasn't a routine blood test. I was on some medication that wasn't safe during pregnancy so my GP got me a blood test done to ensure my HCG was rising.

My sickness started at around 7weeks and was horrendous. I lost 2 stone in weight and was hospitalized 3 times. They said it was worse due to high HCG. But again other women get Hyperemesis with only 1 baby.

I had a private scan at around 7+6 and found out it was twins then.
