Hi guys, hope you’re well. I’m completely new hear, never posted before and I’m looking for a little bit of support pleaaaase.

Me and my husband have been trying for a baby for a few months now. This month I’ve experienced fatigue like never before, I literally cannot keep my eyes open. I’ve been feeling sick but not actually sick and also mild cramping with lower back pain.

I’m due on my period in six days (super impatient I know). From the test I’ve just taken today at 7pm, I’m sure I can see a faint blue line, can anyone else? Or is it just wishful thinking xx

There’s no picture!

Damn it, I can’t see the paper clip to attach a picture! Maybe cos I’m using a mobile and not a desktop.

Do you normally get cramping and low back pain with your periods? I would say the mega fatigue sounds normal I was totally floored but that was around the six/ eight week mark...

MrsB2020dxb · 06/07/2020 18:09

I usually get awful cramping around two days before my period is due but I don’t ever get back pain. It’s the fatigue that’s really got me thinking that maybe I could actually be pregnant. Trying to figure out how to upload this pic. X

I understand wanting to test asap so you know! But cramp and back pain can be attributed to early pregnancy/ period/ miscarriage. Every one is different ! Try the test again on or after your due date. The hcg will be higher and therefore the test should be much more noticeable. Best of luck!

I think you have to be a member 48hrs to post pics x

RedOasis · 06/07/2020 18:11

I’ll keep checking for pic tho....💐

Or maybe you could spent an extra £25 if you desperately want to know for one of those clear blu tests? The one that says pregnant /not pregnant?

MrsB2020dxb · 06/07/2020 18:14

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to me. I figured out how to upload pics but like you say, as I'm new user I can't upload pics just yet. Will try again shortly. Thanks again xx

Hello guys,

Hope you're all well.

So since my faint positive tests, I took a clear blue digital test which says 'Pregnant 1-2'.

I'm so worried it's wrong Sad

What makes you think it is wrong? The date that shows is from conception so you add 2 weeks which would mean you are 3-4weeks pregnant. If you are due AF today/tomorrow that seems about right.

They dates are also quite unreliable as the measure HCG which can fluctuate throughout the day.

If it says pregnant then you are pregnant. Congratulations!

You know when you want something so bad. I think I'm just preparing myself "just in case" I go to the doctors and they tell me I'm not actually pregnant.

I have quite bad anxiety so my brain is all over the place at the min!

Really hope so x

@MrsB2020dxb FYI not sure about your area but where I live you don't go to the doctors to confirm pregnancy. They don't need to see you. Once you have a positive test you just self refer to the maternity service at a local hospital and they'll see you at 8-10 weeks for your booking in appt.

MrsB2020dxb · 10/07/2020 11:59

Hey! I live in Dubai. Over here they do a blood test to confirm xx
