Third Trimester Weight Loss

Hi I have been keeping track of my weight gain throughout my pregnancy as I was concerned I wasn't putting on enough, up until last week I had gained just over 6kg, at my last midwife appointment she was happy and baby was measuring a bit ahead.
I have weighed myself this afternoon and am shocked to find I've lost 2kg since this time last week! Is this normal?? I haven't done anything differently or been particularly unwell.
I have read online losing a couple of lbs is a sign of preterm labour, but I am only 34+2 so hope this isn't the case.

Has anyone else experienced this?

My weight has been more up and down in my third trimester. For the last 6 weeks I have been losing and regaining the same 3lbs. I have been struggling with sickness and staying hydrated which I think is contributing.
If I make a more conserrted effort to drink more and add an extra snack I go up again. Remember you need an extra 200kcal a day in the third trimester.
As a one off weight drop I wouldn't be too worried, try to eat and drink a bit more over the next few days and see if it goes up again and if you are worried ask your midwife.

I feel like I've lost weight in the third trimester. I'm constantly eating but it's like the baby is sucking the energy/calories up.

I always lose weight in the 3rd trimester. Iv had 4 babies and usually by the time they pop out I weigh less than at the start. It's normal for some people 3rd trimester baby uses more energy and calories for u and u start producing milk for baby so ur body is using more as long as u eating and drinking u should be fine
