I have a full bladder and a racing heart!

So surreal to be here alone without my husband...

I wonder how long solo appointments will be the rule...

Hi OP! Rubbish that your husband can't be there but what an exciting day!

I had a mare with my scans, bladder too full bladder not full enough...hopefully you've achieved optimum bladder fullness!

Exciting!

I weirdly preferred having the empty waiting room, much better than the world & his wife turning up and then you not being able to get a seat.

I’m not holding out much hope that DH can come for our scan at the end of the month, but the hospital are being incredibly supportive and trying to do all they can.

Sorry you have to go through this, I had to as well, I did think that all hospitals were allowing partners in with you now though? X

I had my 12 week scan pre-covid then 20 week scan when all the restrictions were in place.

I much preferred the quieter, socially distanced waiting area. It was so much calmer and more relaxed.

And good luck by the way. Hope the scan goes OK.

@larrythelizard your comment made me chuckle I had that problem with my first. My bladder was too full then she said can I go and empty it a little .. geeeze that took some concentrating! Trying to not let it all out 🤦🏼‍♀️ if I had that problem this time it would have been all or nothing 😂 can't do that anymore lol
Hope all went well @jess348
