Blood when wiped at 7 week

Hi ladies, I know nobody can diagnose me on the internet but just wondering what you would do. I woke up this morning and went to the toilet. When I wiped there was a bit of red blood on the tissue. Panicking I wiped again but absolutely nothing, not even a spec. I’m unsure if to ring my doctor or just wait it out and see what happens. No cramping or anything.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

@Cupcakefairy12 hi! I would call the doctor even if just to put your mind at ease. Similar thing happening with me since Sat - a bit of blood when I wipe once in the morning and once in the evening. But since EPU isn’t open on the weekend I’m just waiting until 9am so I can call them. Good luck xx

Thanks for responding @Firevie. I’d ring them directly myself but cannot find a number anywhere. Will contact doctor. I hope everything goes ok with you.

@Cupcakefairy12 I had similar experience to yours few days ago, except my discharge was pinkish + I had shoulder pain and was very lightheaded. I though I am having Ectopic pregnancy. I called local EPU and they booked scan for me this morning.. and there was a baby in the right place with visible heartbeat (I am just 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant only). So, to put your mind at ease I advice you to give a call to your local EPU and ask to book in a scan. Best of luck x

I would personally get seen at either EPU or private scan.

@Grumpy19 sorry to hear! Hope your scan tmr goes well. I also have a scan tmr but I already know what it will say. It’s just a confirmation scan before my surgery on Tuesday (unless nature takes its course naturally until Tuesday) Flowers xxx

@Grumpy19 thank you! It sucks but I have a great husband who has been my rock throughout and Mumsnet community has been great too! Hope your scan tomorrow goes well xx

I'm 5+3 and had very light pink spotting and now it's light brown spotting! I think I do remember having this around the same time with my son. It seems common but I think it should always be checked out!

Melonslicexx · 08/07/2020 14:10

I had this alot.

He's now two and a half if that helps. Xx
