Just curious what your worst pregnancy symptom was. Also, what trimester did you find the most difficult. Thanks. X

Last trimester, all babies over 10lbs, has dpd on second dd. Heartburn on all of. them. Never got morning sickness.

DontStandSoClose · 05/07/2020 21:08

First trimester feeling hungover constantly, really exhausted from doing nothing

Second trimester low blood pressure so issues with feeling dizzy/fainting

Third trimester - random leg cramps in the middle of the night, no pain like it, actually worse than a contraction.
Heartburn
Not being able to get comfortable at night and just general difficulty moving around
Not being able to dress myself properly without assistance (knickers, socks and fastening shoes...)

Last month of being pregnant has always been the hardest for me.

I'm 32 weeks now, and nothing has yet rivalled the constant nausea of the first trimester. Not even the backache and breathlessness I'm having now. Weeks 5 through 13 were awful!

Prettylittlelady · 05/07/2020 21:16

I’m only 25+4 and FTM so can’t comment on the 3rd yet but right at the start I had the worst diarrhoea, for about a week. It was horrendous. I would have put it down to a coincidence but the same thing happened with my pregnancy that ended in miscarriage

Natasha9511 · 05/07/2020 21:20

Acid reflux - from 17 weeks onwards. 37 weeks now and it makes me tear up!

Alabamawhirly1 · 05/07/2020 21:22

1wt trimester is the worst. Feeling sick and exhausted all the time and looking fat not pregnant.

Sleep difficulties are the worst symptom. Either through insomnia or being uncomfortable.

NannyPear · 05/07/2020 21:23

1st pregnancy: 1st trimester sickness
2nd pregnancy: HG and 3rd trimester constipation and haemorrhoids 😭

vampirethriller · 05/07/2020 21:24

Reflux and SPD, 2nd and 3rd. I couldn't bend at all without acid coming up and couldn't walk/sit/lie down without it hurting. A lot. Then I swelled up and looked like a balloon figure of myself.

bellbaeu · 05/07/2020 21:30

3rd pregnancy was the worst.
The 1st trimester was the worst! Tiredness, bloating, feeling constant sick and the worry of miscarriage.
3rd trimester symptom got to be heartburn, shortness of breath and rib pain

OhhhPeee · 05/07/2020 21:32

HG throughout, which made me depressed in the second pregnancy because I knew it wouldn’t go away until after the birth. First time around I at least had hope that it would go away at some point, but it never did.

I also had ptyalism, which is too much saliva in your mouth all the time. I spat constantly and had to have tissues with me all the time, it was disgusting. At night, even if I wasn’t vomiting I couldn’t sleep because I felt like I was drowning in spit. I had to sleep sitting up.

Not holding down any food or water also left me with horrific constipation, and resultant piles. I also devolved terrible acne for the first and only time in my life, the spots were huge and painful, like boils.

Birth was a blessed relief!

I was sick every single day for the whole 9 months with DS1 but the worst to cope with was the tiredness in the first trimester. I remember being at work, so tired I could cry.

flossletsfloss · 05/07/2020 22:18

First trimester and sickness, although it didn't go once the first trimester was over it was the worst in that section. There are lots of other crap symptoms too but I'd be here too long listing them all! 😂

Birdy1991 · 05/07/2020 22:19

No effects for me in first trimester unlike many above...

For me the third trimester has been uncomfortable and frustrating, carpal tunnel 24/7 and the bump getting in the way of sleeping has been awful. Oh and peeing every twenty minutes.

longtimecomin · 05/07/2020 22:21

First trimester - tiredness and feeling nauseous.

longtimecomin · 05/07/2020 22:21

First trimester - tiredness and feeling nauseous.

physicskate · 05/07/2020 22:28

Third - I was housebound and unable to walk (the crutches meant I could go about 10 feet in serious pain) because of fairly severe pgp.

brimfullofasha · 05/07/2020 22:52

Sickness and exhaustion through the first 2 trimesters. Sod so I could barely walk in the 3rd trimester. I don't have good pregnancies.

brimfullofasha · 05/07/2020 22:53

SPD not sod!

soloula · 05/07/2020 23:25

SPD with both of mine - third trimester with DD1, second with DD2.

FlowerPig · 05/07/2020 23:32

I'm only at week 23 and between the weight gain of 2 stone already (!!), pretty much constant heartburn/acid reflux, the start of insomnia when I'm normally a very good/heavy/long sleeper, achey feet even when I haven't walked much, the nausea and exhaustion from first trimester and two weird migraines which left me bedbound and vomiting towards the end of my 1st tri ... I'm wondering what the good parts are. And impatiently waiting on/dreading what the 3rd tri will bring me 🎁
Definitely not "bloomed" in 2nd tri, still get tired pretty easily as well as all my other complaints above and probably more....baby can't come quick enough!!! 😫

annlee3817 · 05/07/2020 23:42

2nd trimester was pretty shit, bladder retention twice, steroid injections because of a shortening cervix, horrendous constipation and heartburn... Just all so glamorous lol

Rubyandsaphire · 06/07/2020 00:28

Nausea and vomiting all 3 trimesters.

blitzen · 06/07/2020 07:19

Trimester 1 - nausea
Trimester 2 - things got better
Trimester 3 - excruciating SPD

Amichelle84 · 06/07/2020 07:42

For me every trimester has been tough in it's own way, but I'd probably say the 1st with sickness.

ttigerlilly · 06/07/2020 07:58

Heartburn and RLS was starting to seriously bother me by the third trimester.
